COVID-19 RESPONSE IN NEW YORK

On March 13, 2020, the city of New York and surrounding cities was impacted hard with the pandemic crisis The Coronavirus or COVID-19 virus. CACANA under the leadership of Dr. Dothlyn M. Sterling; PhD decided that action of community stabilization and humanitarian effort/relief must take place immediately without the patience of governmental agencies and other entities to decide political or governmental funding or martial law.

CACANA has decided to partner with both local businesses and outreach ministries to help feed the poor and homeless by providing warm nutritious cups of soup and also allowing struggling businesses to receive funds from the generous donations of people who are moved to financially give. This in return will keep business operating and running while those who are suffering from hunger can receive meals for themselves and families to eat.
